Hello, I'm Rebecca. Welcome to Comida Peruana, a food blog designed to get your taste buds tingling for Peruvian cuisine, and perhaps a visit to this beautiful country. 

I am a law graduate, with a strong interest in international law and human rights. I am an active community member, having volunteered for women's rights and economic development in Ethiopia, Fiji, Peru and locally in my home town in the North East of England. 

I moved to Peru in 2017 after volunteering there in 2016, falling completely in love with the food and the people... and it would seem I'm not the only one as Peru has been named the "Worlds Leading Culinary Destination 2017"!
